Ive been taking sertaline 25mg for few months now and they have helped with my anxiety and fears but I cant feel any emotions I feel numb inside. Even when I try laugh its completely fake and I cant feel any happiness or sadness. Its like I am just a shell. Most of the time I cant hold a conversation because Im feeling self concious and paranoid. Can anyone relate to this?

Hi SammieXo, what you are feeling is normal when on these medications. Their purpose is to numb you from the pains of life in hopes of reducing your anxiety and fears. Run it by your prescribing doctor to reassure yourself. Sometimes it takes time for us to adjust to that feeling.x
