What makes my anxiety HORRIBLE, googling the symptoms. I'm diagnosed with EVERYTHING.

That has definitely not helped my situation at all. I hate googling. Sometimes reading symptoms make them worse for me.

Yep! I hate google but keep going back looking for hope 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Google doesn't hold the answers your searching for, it only fuels your fear and helps keep anxiety going, I could google the symptoms of a common cold and be fooled into thinking I had something sinister, google symptom search and anxiety are about as compatible as water and electricity! try searching for tips on how to stop checking out symptoms instead xxx

Makes a lot of sense to not allow yourself to overthink symptoms of something that is similar to other things, very easy to do, so, it will only spiral out of control and you will feel a lot worse for it.. get well Tweetg xx

I agree, the urge to look never goes but I tell myself not to do it as I will make myself sick again

Self diagnosing is the worst nightmare for anxiety. I stopped doing it and found my anxiety had lessened

Same here.

I agree 100per cent. I am trying desperately to see correlation between blood pressure medication and anxiety. Google will tell you everything and nothing. Makes things worse.

It gets worse when I go to a doctors or therapist's I also get diagnosed with everything! 😆 I only use google to find legit sites now on health issues I recommend you do the same. If you do a proper test though it is worth seeing a doctor thoigh.

I know it's easy to say but don't do it. I have learnt that it only hinders your already suffering mind, you will only heal if you don't have the information in your head to dwell on and panic, it's not the truth until you have tests done x

Well said!

I don't do it anymore either it just gives you more to worry about.

Tweetg, by all means it would make you worse because it's generalization of symptoms. Never Google, I never have, I never will. Trust in your doctor who knows your medical history and can diagnose accordingly. Doing this can probably cut your stress level in half. x

Well said Agora

Most conditions have similar symptoms so it would do your head in taking all that info in. There is no way you can self diagnose with no medical evidence, no examination, impossible :-)
