Feeling numb not on medication
How do you mean?
I have been of anti depressants for about a month now and having days where i feel no emotions just numb
Your body is still adjusting. Remember that the medication changes your hormones. It will take time. This is an important time for you. Start by slowly reintroducing things you enjoyed. It could be reading, going for walks or meeting up with friends. How do you feel about that?
I appreciate the reply yeah i keep telling myself that just hard as e everydayi got to put a front on an act nomal
No, don't put on anything. That will set you back. Own your feelings because they are nothing to be ashamed of. You are allowed to have periods of feeling low. Anxiety and depression is life long conditions and you need to manage them but don't cover up how you feel. Own it.
What do you enjoy doing. Tell me about yourself.
Its just hard as no one i talk to understands me they call me a hypercondreact i like to spend time to myself going for walks i go to the gym i do jujitsu i love my job as a baber i have a 2 year old daughter i love to visit my family i havent got many close friends to talk to other than family
If those who you call friends make you feel like that, I'm sorry to say that they are not true friends. I never really knew what true friendship was until I got older and I now see what I was missing all these years. There is a site called meetup and I highly recommend it. I found great friendships through it. You meet complete strangers through social events. Everyone is in the same boat. Would you consider going to an event?
I'm glad to hear you have things you love. Hold onto that. Being on your own is not so bad.. Trust me
Take this time to reacquaint with yourself. You still see you are a good person and fun.. ( if you allow yourself)
