I feel like i'm not going to get better.

The last couple weeks I have been pretty stressed/anxious. Then last sunday my stomach started to get upset and all week I cant eat like nothing without having to run to the bathroom like an hour or two later. I have heartburn/indigestion and upset stomach and gas pains but no vomiting or diarrhea. I'm not taking any medicine to like do upset my stomach. I went to the doctors today and he believe it could be stress and anxiety and he said it will get better over time and he prescribed me some Prilosec. But I cant take this anymore. I'm gonna try taking anxiety medication again to see if it also helps. I guess what i'm asking is has anyone else gone through this?

sounds like you have a little virus... Give it a week or two. STRESS AND ANXIETY CAN ALSO REEK HAVOC ON YOUR DIGESTION. try hard to pin point what you might be extra stressed about. Take a day or two off to relax and think positive.

Yes I had simular issues with medication which has caused acid reflux and digestive issues. I feel better mentally on medication just physically having to deal with side effects until you find the right meds. Hope you get help.
