Is it possible to get premenstutal symptoms a couple a weeks before your period is due? I tend to get a sticky feeling and headaches and a back ache and wondering if it could be linked to my period?

Hi Panickier, I would think that it is more likely linked to your mid cycle ovulation. If this is an ongoing monthly issue, I'd check with your OBG. x

Well I think so. It's definitely possible. Because i know for me my breast would be sore a few weeks or a week before my came on also I do remember I would have abdominal cramps and back aches many days before mine came on.

some people have reactions to both changes in hormones involved in the menstral cycle. I get migraines at both points - so know when I'm ovulating as well as when my period is going to start.

Yes it is. Usually around the time of ovulation until your period begins. About 17 days. If the symptoms go away when you start menstruating you can pretty much bank on it being your hormones.
