My ex has really been on my heart today in a negative way. He really hurt me. Its been over a year and I'm still not over it. I don't want to be constantly reminded of the awful thin he said to me and horrible ways he made me feel. I want to forget him. Forget the hurt. Any ideas on how to forgive and forget?

You have to forgive him in order to be happy.. just like god forgave our sins.. I know it's not easy I been there before. But just know your worth and it was his lost.
We can only be free when we forgive and trust. Sfqueen is right. Jesus gave his life so that we can forgive and live without sin. You significant other may have done something bad to you but what you should do is pray for him so he can find a better way to express himself.
Pray for yourself and and be blessed that God is alway for you and never against you.
