Does anyone else get a funny sensation and then it feels like you are going to pass out but I don't faint. Not sure what the feeling is or if it has anything to do with my IBS? Thank you

Nah i felt normal when I woke up had a mini panic attack now I'm walking around anxious like I'm going to faint all day not cool

That's weird I had that yesterday. I was really worked up and I got this numbness all over my body and felt like I was going to pass out and it really scared me

Hi chanelle

In answer to your question, yes I get that feeling every time I get an anxiety/panic attack and it lingers on and off through out the day, its a very strange and scary feeling, it convinces me that I'm going to pass out, thats when I panic, I've never fainted but each time I get this feeling and each time I think this is the one that will cause me to faint, I'm struggling with this scary symptom, I try telling myself that it's never caused me to faint before and so chances are it won't cause me to now, its not easy though, I can totally relate with you on this one chanelle, hang in there :-) xx

This is probably the reason I have panic attacks, any feeling of being off balance, dizzy, faint.. and my anxiety goes though the roof, which then makes the feeling even worse

God, thats me also, light headed or dizzy, anything like that and my anxiety/panic is triggered, just awful....

If these symptoms where eliminated they would not trigger anxiety. It is the body's response to something off kilter.

I am new to this sight and after reading many postings realize that anxiety is an umbrella covering the same symptoms. I am going to concentrate on each ndividual aspect and try to solve them one at a time. Keeping a journal for clues of what may be triggering episodes.

It is worth a try since I have not seen any real solution to anxiety other than grin and bear it.
