neck / jaw feeling tense

has anyone else ever felt like their glands under jaw are swollen but not physically swollen wondering if anyone has similar feeling .. also feel like their is a sticky feeling in the back of my throat

Yeah, I feel this pretty regularly. I think it might be an oversensitivity type of thing. Anxiety can make you be extraordinarily aware of sensations that are normal so you think that something more is going on than really is.

I get this a lot at the moment! I've had a really tight neck and jaw. Its so tight under my jaw that I cant actually work out if I've got swollen glands under there of the muscles and tendons are just really tight. Its only really started since I've been anxious recently. I'm also getting a sore throat/hoarse voice and a slight burning feeling in the middle of my chest (like a mild persistent heartburn) but the burning only came on recently. I saw a doctor and she thinks I have acid reflux which causes all these symptoms and is probably triggered by my anxiety. I'm now trying some tablets for 2months to see if it helps reduce the acid. Xx
