In light of all the physical stuff I've been going through I'm currently on two daily medications. The doctors want to start a new med tonight and another new one in three days. My anxiety is in full swing and I can't make myself take the 3rd medicine. I have anxiety and fear of meds... Ugh!!!

Hello Beth
Me to , dreadful fear of meds !
So you have managed to take 2 meds which you are on now ?
Tell yourself nothing bad has happened so why should anything bad happen when you start these new one's ( I know easier said than done )
Also I think believing I am in control really helps which what I do is tell myself " Just for today " in other words I will take the meds a day at a time and if at any time I am not happy I will stop them and tell my Doctor , somehow it helps the fear in a small way
How you are feeling now with your anxiety cannot be easy , so what is the worse the meds can do , maybe not suite you is a possibility easily solved though by then stopping them but they may work and you may not feel as awful as you do now which would be a massive bonus
Tell yourself you will give this a good go , but remember you are in control
Take Care x
Beth, how are you? Did you have your appointment with the neurologist? I would assume if you are having to start new medication they must have come to a diagnosis. I believe you when you say your anxiety is in full swing. A lot has been happening to you recently. Taking new meds is another step in the process of getting things under control. As Bounce said, your doctor may have prescribed the meds but you are able to call him if you feel uncomfortable on them. Apparently that 3rd medicine is important to your wellbeing and you must at least try. I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. I'm hoping you already took that 3rd pill and are doing okay on it. Keeping you in my thoughts Beth. xx
