mucus stuck in throat & throat feels dry/scratchy

was wondering if anyone suffering from anxiety has ever felt like there Is mucus stuck in back of throat ? and throat also feels dry ? I'm an 18 year old female who also smokes Tabaco ... I find myself looking symptoms on google and this also causes my anxiety to sky rocket ...

Oh, i know. Self diagnosing is so dangerous. But, we all do it. Try to avoid it if you can though!

When I was first diagnosed with anxiety, I went to the doctor claiming it felt like there was something thick stuck in my throat. That's when she kind of asked if it felt similar to when I cried. I was like, yeah...kind of? So, when she followed that by saying she thought I had anxiety I was SO SHOCKED. I was like...how is this linked? But, after I started counseling, slowly but surely...that thick feeling in my throat went away. Bodies are so weird!

Anyways, I am not sure if this is what is happening to you, but what you described sounds exactly like how I felt.

Yeah got that . Lots of mucous always trying to clear it. Not sure whether it is from post nasal drip or reflux. Waiting for ent appointment. But in the mean time it's very annoying and throat feels tight and irritating.

yes muscles on the right side of neck feel tight
