hi, I am new to this site, and I am so glad I found it because i feel that i really need support now with my anxiety because it is preventing me from living my life and even leaving my room. Even when I am in my room, I have this feeling of derealization, that nothing is actually real or actually there. Also, I cant seem to focus in on anything and remember things. Also, i feel like moments and passing me by and i feel like im not in my body. At night I am afraid that i will not wake up from sleeping, and I constantly have shortness of breath. I was wondering if anybody knew how to stop derealization and disassociation forms of anxiety. I feel like I am pretty sleep deprived which may be causing it, but I was wondering will this lifeless, and feeling of not existing or anything being real, go away?
derealization, dissacosiation: hi, I am new... - Anxiety Support
derealization, dissacosiation
Yes!!! It will most certainly go away!!! I had DR for 5 months after a bad trip off MJ and my brother being arrested 2 weeks later. DR is soooooooo scary but it's your brains way of letting you know your anxiety is at its highest peak. I started taking Magnesium and it literally started curing me the same night I took the first dose. Also, YouTube "derealization cured" there are people on there that had it and are cured 100% and listening to their stories helped me soooooo much. I know it seems like it won't stop but TRUST ME! You are going to be just fine
thank you so much for your response. I feel really scared right now but it is really great to know that I am not alone <3
You're more than welcome. And anytime, I know how it feels, so I had to say something when I saw your post. I cried all day everyday and was afraid to go to sleep at night, so being sleep deprived made it even worse for me, and I would even have really weird scary dreams and felt like everything was a sign that something was gonna happen to me. I was even afraid to go outside, because I felt like I was still inside while I was outside, I was afraid of th Sky, I was afraid of everything, It was crazy. So no, you're definitely not alone at all. But I actually can't remember the feeling now that I'm cured. So trust me, it will go away.
Yes it will! The lack of sleep will be a fairly massive part of it. I believe it's your body's way of saying "I don't like this (anxiety)...let's pretend it isn't happening!" The weird thing is when you are feeling better you won't really remember these days of DR.. which is good. Take care and the magnesium is a good thing to try ^
