Therapy
Hello
I have had therapy before as I am no good with meds either and I would say it works if you want it to !
You may feel at first this is never going to work but keep an open mind , be honest no matter how crazy you may feel you will sound because they need to know what they are working with so if we hold back we won't get what we need and remember whatever you say someone will have already said it and no doubt a lot worse they are used to it , it is their job
I also will say it is not a quick fix , like medication that you take and starts working after a few weeks this can take longer and the knowledge they give you in your sessions you have to practice in your everyday life but I would say it is well worth it
Good Luck and let us know how you get on
Take Care x
Therapy I find has always helped more than pills. I had a jungian therapist for a few years and she was excellent. She was keen on using art and writing as a form of expression and being a musician, I can see the value of listening to music, dance and singing as a form of release. Do whatever comforts you and helps you stay strong.
Did my first therapy and it was just talking, but she did say that is what it was going to be all about first session, but I've come out shaking. She said she couldn't believe how much stuff I have had to deal with or having to deal with. Iam now off sick for just over a week X
