I hear it's the relatively safest one to take.
What's your dosage?
I have 15mg I only take half the pill have u tried it
I was prescribed buspar some years ago when I was going through an unbearably awful time and my anxiety was crippling. I can't recall the dose but I know that my doctor started me off low and gradually built it up to the higher end of the recommended dosage. It helped me massively. No side effects (that I noticed), no dependence, no withdrawal. The beneficial effects build up gradually – it's nothing like taking diazepam or any of that family of meds. More like taking an antidepressant, where it takes a couple of weeks at least to notice a difference.
It didn't stop me caring, worrying or grieving about the things happening in my life; I wasn't numbed. But the anxiety and panic attacks that were previously overwhelming me throughout every day just began to diminish until after a month or so, I could do the things in my life that needed to be done (basic things like leaving the house and getting groceries, and big things like finding a new home).
It's always puzzled me that I know so many people with anxiety and yet I've never met anybody else who's been precribed this drug.
Medications affect everyone differently; but for me buspar was a life-saver.
Buspirone really helped me! Been taking it for at least 10+ years. The only one that supposedly safe.
