Hi have had aniexty for 6 months now cutting down from 15mg of mirtazapine in the last three weeks to 7.5mg and taken 6mg of diazapan every day for the last six months things have been great for the last 3 weeks but  but out of the blew  l am having a bad attack l don't no if it's the cut down or what is any one else had these feeling

Sorry about you having an attack today , could be your body reacting to the decreased dose of meds or it could be that you are just having a off day , I think if you try & go with today and see how you feel after a few days and if it keeps happening speak with your Doctor as they may decide to reduce your meds more slowly

It most likely can be from cutting down  on your mirtazapine since you cut the dose

in half in only 3 weeks time.   You didn't feel bad the first 3 weeks because there

was enough shelf life in the dose you had been taking.  Once the dose dipped below

the therapeutic dose, the symptoms broke through.  Tell your doctor, maybe it will

suggest you wean off more slowly.  Taking the diazapan  will help support you through

the withdrawal because it is a longer acting drug.  I wish you well.  There is really no

easy way around this.

You're very welcome.  It just got off my benzo, so I can understand

what you are feeling.   (It's been almost 2 years now.)
