Good med for anxiety

Anybody know of a very good medication in the UK that is for treatment of anxiety/OCD I have tried citalopram 20mg but didnt work very well and I would like one that doesnt have alot of side effects

Members will reply with all different kinds of medications that have worked for them which may give you an insight to the different medications for anxiety but you will also maybe find what works for one does not always work as well for someone else

Most medications will possibly give you side effects but this normally will pass

I think if you go & see you Doctor and let them know you are not happy on the ones you are taking , let them know they are not working they should offer you another one , you will eventually find the one that works for you with the help of your GP

Thankyou I have been given fluxotine aswell but they made me sick

It can be a bit of trying a few out before you find one that suites , there is one called Sertraline ( might have the spelling wrong there ) but even though I have not personally took them I no people that have and they have worked

Sometimes starting on the lowest dose possible and waiting till your body adjusts before you increase it can really help with feeling the side effects maybe that could be the way to go ?
