That's awesome. What are you doing that's working for you? It's so great that you are coming here to help other people.
It's a bunch of self taught coping skills and techniques that help get your mind completely away from all the anxiousness you are feeling, which tend to work a lot more than the ones given by doctors and counselors. If you suffer from any form of anxiety, depression, panic attack, I can help you too
Hi JayWO, I've been suffering from anxiety for about 8 months now. I get "before bed" anxiety mostly every night, and it keeps me up late. My mind seems to magnify little problems into bigger ones, causing me to think that there is something seriously wrong with me (even though Doctors have tested me and say I'm healthy). I can control my panic attacks, but I have such a hard time controlling negative thoughts and feelings. Any advice on how to cope please?
Yes of course, one thing you never want to do is tell yourself to "calm down" that'll just make matters worse. Your mind right now is having major racing thoughts because your anxiety is starting to get worse. To calm it down, watch certain videos that have comedy in it, as weird as it sounds it helps a heck of a lot. What that does is focus your mind on what's going on in the video and the anxiety you feel will subside. The reason you hage the slightest things magnified is due to your mind focusing more on your body, every prick and every burn your body has, actually happens everyday but since you have severe anxiety, they are 10x more magnified, putting you into fear. You know you are perfectly okay(: and if you can't sleep at night because of the anxiety, I am always available (:
I've suffered a lot this year with anxiety. I have good days and bad days. Last night was a bad one and now I fear it will spiral as work early tomorrow. Any advice would be lovely x
