I keep thinking I have a tumor I have just had an eye test and that came back good does this rule it out??...

Hi I havnt posted in a while but this is bothering me I started to get realy bad eyes I.e floaters n dots and I went for a eye test look at my eyes for around 5 minutes and he says ther fine and my retinas healthy but why do I see the floaters and the blue blodges I keep thinking I have a Tumor please help

I had a similar thing happen to me. I was sent an eye specialist - she actually was an eye surgeon. She examined me and said in fact my eyes were very healthy. When I started to say again about my problem she was quite rude and said maybe if I clean my glasses it would help. So anyway I saw a regular eye doctor 6 months later and he told me his wife gets similar symptoms when stressed. Also I have Ulcerativev Colitus and that disease can cause blurred vision just from pressure in the body apparently.

I know you must be very worried. It has been years since I had floaters but I remember how scared I was. For me they went away and never came back. Hope yours does very soon too!

hi john i can assure you the floaters you talk about are harmless they are caused by scratches to the eye ! if the optician says theres no problem with your eyes you will need to move on at some point or you will make your self ill ! go to your doctor and tell them what the problem is they might be able to suggest something that can help you short term ! i wish you all the best take care david !
