I haven't took my beat blockers (propranolol) has Iv got a cardiologist appointment on Wednesday for stress test have to stop medication 48hours before and I haven't took one today MY HEART Is racing like mad 145 none stop what is this why is my heart racing so fast even when I'm just laying there this has been like it all Morning and still going on

Hi ,just start breathing properly a lot of us dont or forget to I did,deep breath hold count to 4 and slowly release the breath ,you can do this anywere nobody need know it really helps as it naturally slows the heart rate down propanalol doesn,t work for everyone ,if you can practice meditation ,its quiets the mind or anything like calming music get it on your music gadget or go to to yutube,good luck
