Mirtazapine 7.5mg

I was on 15mg mirtazapine for several years. Over Christmas and new year I reduced to 7.5mg by taking half a tablet.

I am doing really well but wish to stop completely but am finding the last step difficult , through fear I expect!

Should I just stop now, ( not sure how effective this dose is ) or taper off some more ?

Hello

I would never just stop a medication suddenly , it is best to taper of & even better to get advise how to do so from your doctor , so if it was me I would ask my doctor what would be the best way to reduce the meds

If for some reason you don't want to ask you doctor you could ask in any chemist to speak to the pharmacy they also would be able to give you some good advise

Good luck with coming of them & well done getting to a stage & dealing with your anxiety where you feel you no longer need medication x
