I think that the worst part of my day is when I have to go to sleep at night. Inmense fear overcomes me, and I feel these feelings of depersonalization. I struggle with trying to cope with my anxiety disorder, but I feel it most at night when I am about to go to sleep. Please, does anyone have any advice on how I can chill my thoughts and go to sleep easier?

  • This is what iv got now cant sleep all night long head raceing thinking tryed sleeping pills work one day then next night i dont as there not working how long you had this for does it keep you up all night to the anxiety stress?

  • I've had this anxiety for about 4 and a half months now and there has been periods were I can't get a good nights rest...I had like two hours of sleep last night, and I feel anxious that I won't be able to go asleep tonight as well. I've tried medicine that helps calm my panic attacks, but I don't want to rely on medicine in order for me to sleep.

  • It might sound stupid but try laying in bed shut your eyes and with your pointer finger just draw out the alphabet or write sentances. It helps keep your mind off anxiety thoughts and you will eventually fall asleep

  • Hi, try getting a relaxation app on your phone ( many are free) and pop your earphones in and nod off that way.
