Fibromyalgia
Hi there
I'm not new to the community but I don't usually participate, just read usually, but your post struck out to me
I have suffered anxiety for many years because of my health and not being believed etc (20yrs chronic pain and dislocations) and was diagnosed last year with Hypermobility Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, among other illnesses too over the years.............. I arranged through my GP to get help with my anxiety because it was making me ill. I have someone I can go and see when my anxiety is getting out of control or if I feel the need to go and talk about what's causing me stress, for example. I've had counselling and also completed a Pain Management course too which I do recommend as I found it helped me learn how live with the Pain illnesses that I had, it was before diagnosis. We are all different though so what worked for me might not for someone else However, it could be worth trying to find out if it could help you

Thank you so much for your help I'm going to ask my g p as this has all been bought on by stress and anxiety x
{{{{{ mammacaz }}}}} soft fluffie hugs for you
I think your symptoms will be worse when stressed, yes, but cannot say the illness causes them. The site that the link whywhy gave you is all about Fibromyalgia and worth taking a look
I forgot to say that my counselling is through the services of MIND which you don't need to be referred to by your doctor you can call to ask if you can see someone
Here's the link to the MIND site:

Yes I have fibro which includes poor sleep and muscle pain. I find ginger, magnesium and b vitamins along with vitamin C helps with my symptoms. Avoiding gluten and dairy has helped with the fibro fog and I find only tramadol helps with the pain but I have EDS as well.
Sometimes avoiding nightshade family foods helps with my fibro but only for a short time.
