Fear of going far from home

I find it hard to go away and really envy people who plan a holiday and then go and have a lovely time. I just had to pay £300 for a cottage I didn't get to; it was only a couple of hours away. My dad died while I was away when I was in my teens and I worry about leaving my elderly mother, but I've been like this for years.

This is pretty similar to mine. I can go away as in travelling and holidays but cannot move away. I am scared I am going to lose everyone I love, parents etc and not be able to get back or I am going to meet someone fall in love and be stuck living so far away from family. Crazy I know. I want to meet someone but at same time I want to be able to see my family. I am 40 btw and feel like a child. but the anxiety and panic of moving and losing everyone is overwhelming.
