Has anyone taken zoloft with any success? I just started on 25 mg today.

I can only tell you the experience of my son's girlfriend. I'm not officially on any med yet myself however my son's girlfriend who is 20 years old takes Zoloft and says it works great for her. Makes a world of difference and hasn't had problems with it.

Hi Kboo. I ve been taking Zoloft for a week and half now. I'll be honest and say my depression eased almost immediately but my anxiety got worse. But I have noticed that my anxiety appears to be easing now. I have felt rough, a little sick etc,but I could/can cope. My doctor put me on 50mg so I would think your side effects will be less. So good to hear positive reports about Zoloft. Let's just hope we'll get better now xx

Ive taken it for 16 years . Everythings not perfect, no rainbows every day, but it made it possible to live normally, or as close to normal as I can. Now it will make you sort of tired at first, i notice I sweat more when I exert myself. But very few episodes of severe depression, even after my father died. I still get anxiety but Ive had it since I was 7. Were working on it, trying Buspar. Your top level of zoloft is 200 mg a day, thats what I take before bed. If it works for you, you may know in a week to 10 days, then totally after 4 to 6 weeks.

I am here today to let other know that Zoloft has changed my life for good. I have been on this medicine for about one year now for anxiety and panic disorder and it has drastically improved my life.
