Worried and puzzled, please help.

As I have stated before I do not post all the time but quite often read posts. I have huge health anxieties re heart, cancer etc etc. I have just heard that a friend of a friend had sudden violent stomach pain and just died. As I get lots of stomach pain my fear is off the roof. (My biggest fear is death.)

My puzzlement arises because when I log on the hidden messages are still hidden and I am invited to join!!!! What is going on? I am not very competent with computers but feel that even I could master a simple logging on!

I am sorry to see that members who responded to me in the past have almost all disappeared. If you read this my best wishes. Just one more thing I saw a very long list of anxiety symptoms someone had posted, with anxiety explanations. I would just like to point out that a lot of the symptoms could also relate to more serious issues and if you are unsure it is always best to see your GP.

I suffer from very bad health anxiety too and can sympathise with you.

I only have to see something on the TV about illness either fictional like East Enders or factual and I'm off on one!

I have to avoid all medical TV programmes.

I know how u feel ,it's the winter I worry about,I had pneumonia a few yrs ago,so every winter I convince myself I'm gona get it again,iv been uptight ll day today,my Asthmas acting up but I think it's this hiatus hernia wats doing it mreally fed up

I suffer badly too. If I see a medical programme I think I have the disease. When bird flu was in the news I even had a box of supplies in case of a pandemic. I don't think people realise how badly we suffer, sometimes they even treat it as a joke. I also agree not to pass off every symptom as HA as it could be a physical illness. Take care
