I shared with my Salvation Army officers the post on my website about "The Mental Health-Friendly Church". Later this month he wants to do a session with me at the Wednesday afternoon meeting, interviewing me about living with depression. Interesting! Fortunately, despite having a type of social phobia, I enjoy public speaking when I am prepared.

Hi missrat,
Nice to see you back posting Ann
You're being much braver than me, even the thought of public speaking starts the cycle off now, but maybe it's an age thing.
I was started on recitations and solos when I was in chapel Sunday school, then I've done a bit of computer teaching, plus church meetings. I've no problem if I'm well prepared, but put me in a social situation with a group and I'm really nervous./
