london support groups?

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows of any support groups in london? My anxiety is really being fed by my isolation at the moment. Thanks for any replies.

Hi Susannah. As a member of Anxiety UK I have a list of support groups meeting in London. If you join Anxiety UK they will send you the same, but the cost for membership is £30 (though its worth it if you're thinking of accessing therapy too since you get discounted rates on a sliding scale). If you don't want to become a member, you can give me an email address by sending me a private message and I'll send you the groups list. I quite understand how you're feeling. Feeling like you're on your own with those feelings is horrible and only serves to make you feel worse. Truth is though you're not alone. I hope you can access the groups and break those feelings. Also keep posting here - you will always get positive responses and this has really helped me so far. Good luck.

Thanks so much formidible for your reply. I am hoping to join Anxiety UK soon, so hopefully will be able to work up the courage to go a group. I really appreciate you reply.
