Well after doing so well not googling symptoms all that went right out the window 5 minutes ago. My chest pain is especially bad tonight and I've just googled the symptoms again and lo and behold I just read something that has completely given me the fear.

I'm now lying in bed terrified and what makes or worse is I've no one to talk too :-(

What you like... :S

we all do it though, soo...

what I would do, if you feel you need to put your mind at rest by speaking to an outside medical etc, then just phone the NHS line and hopefully they put your mind at ease..

or...

as your already laying down in bed you could try, just put your hands on your heart...(always feels good) and just deep, not forced.. but deep conscious breathing... you should feel your body start to relax and settle.. then talk to your heart, like you would a good friend... (It loves it when we talk to it)

tell it how you trust it, and how you know your body can do whatever it needs to do to relax etc.. or just talk to it with whatever words come... and hopefully you find things start to settle down.. and you feel clearer

and well.. your not alone, and well.. I'll be around still for a little while, maybe longer, so you can always come back here..

and yeah, im just as bad, even though I know I shouldn't.. and I never seem to learn, I still always somehow can't resist the urge to self diagnose myself via the internet :s.. it rarely makes me feel better!...

Even though several medical professionals have told me a lot of it is not really all the accurate compared to what they see, and most of it is kind of fear based anyway, I mean it has a natural sort of energy of scary about it... so it just adds to what were already feeling.

why I love this place so much, here is such a different feeling, safe space.. and positive vibe about it.. :)

Hi you

I kept falling asleep and then it would feel like I wasn't breathing so my body was jerking me awake, finally I went and slept on the floor in my mums room. I almost certainly just thought I'm going to the hospital but after I lay on the floor the pains sort of stopped and I finally fell asleep.

Honestly I'm banning google from my mind, I really need to stop it lol :-)

Googling......oh yes I've done it SO many times.

Looking for reassurance to a health worry and ending up terrifying myself.

My health anxiety is very bad at the moment and I'm trying hard to be logical and say 'just ignore it' BUT my fingers twitch and itch to Google!

I know what'll happen if I do Google but still want to but I'm fighting it!
