To all of you lovely people🥰 - Anxiety and Depre...
To all of you lovely people🥰
Thank you. Beautiful Song. And back at cha!! 😊
sitting here listening and crying my eyes out. I like the songs meaning….im just to sensitive.
It's okay I used to cry when I discovered it back in 2007 if I'm not mistaken. I used to live in Houston. I was about 19 at the time. My aunt , friend, and I used to go to alot of clubs that played blues, country, and zydeco music. This song was a favorite in those places 🥰
I do enjoy the song…just makes me cry
The one I just posted starts the water works for me....🤧 Sometimes when I feel like I need a good cry I go to this song and any old gospel........I stopped going to church because I cried everytime the choir started singing 🤦🏽♀️
I’m going to start going back to church on Sunday. I haven’t been in years. I don’t know why I stopped going. I always felt so good afterwards. Maybe a higher power can help me through these bad times. I usually cried pretty much the whole time. Once I start, I can’t stop. And I stopped crying now, so I’m not going to listen to that song now. Lol
Lol.....no, you shouldn't listen to it then and i plan yo start back going next month! I haven't been since about 2010 or so and I experienced the same thing when I went often. I used to be sooo happy, glowing, and things didn't effect me so quickly. I want to see if I can experience that again.
Zydeco? 😬 I guess you have to grow up with it... Drives me right up a wall. 😆
Here's my kind of Louisiana music:

Lol......I don't think you do. I live in North Louisiana so they don't play it here. I discovered it in Houston at the age of 17. Songs like the one you posted would put me right to sleep...most of the older country does though🤣🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
You're in Louisiana!! My favorite food in the world! Someday, please please share a favorite recipe. Yum.
Mine: gumbo (all kinds - z'herbs in the spring); red beans; étouffée; jambalaya...
" Older" country is what you get from ahem an "older" gal. 😁
🤣😂😂😂😂😂🤪....NOTED! I love gumbo also but I haven't had a good pot since my grandma passed in 2011.....I am soooo not a cook.....my 16 year old daughter does the cooking in my house. She is great at it....I like a dish called mama slap daddy and samosa pie🙃
Oh heck! That's too bad. You're so lucky your daughter has the gift!
I'd die without gumbo. 💀
Where I live, there's frozen bagged shrimp only. No shrimp heads to be had for love or money.
Samosa pie? Like Indian samosas? Yum yum yum.
