A big part of my day is thinking about anxiety/thoughts/state of mind and so on. It also feel like I'm constantly 'scanning myself'.
When I'm around other people, those thoughts get multiplied and I get into a spiral which most of the time lead to a sort of panic attack where I'm really sweating a lot. I can't help this, even when I try to accept it.
It keep happening.
Now, there are also moments throughout the day where I don't think at all, at least, that's how it feels. Those moments feel great, moments like this are playing a game for example, get lost in a movie, a short small talk with a stranger. This was how I felt all day, all night before I started to have these panic attacks.
What is the difference in my mindset? Why are these obsessive thoughts and so on sometimes completely gone (while playing a soccer match for example)? Because you're busy with something else?
Is there a state where you can achieve a calm state without getting panic attacks or being stuck in your head?
Does anybody recognize this? Also, my body get REALLY hot while getting a 'panic attack' and I start to sweat within seconds. Does anybody else have this kind of symptom?

I get hot and sweaty when I have a panic attack. The reason for this, is cause by adrenaline rush. Something that nature bestow upon us when you need to get away from a dangerous situation. Only problem is we live in the modern world. We don't live in the jungles and have to worry about sabertooth tigers going to eat us.
I found Dare by Barry McDonagh to be helpful. To defuse the thoughts come in. Sometimes I just say "f*** it...if I'm going to go nuts, let it happen already." Sometimes I say if I have a panic attack, just do it and get it over with". I go and do something.
Sometimes Im not a winner. Anxiety gets the better of me. And it ain't fun. But I remind myself Im still here. I survive these 100% of the time.
Yeah that's the problem. The brain needs to pick something to be the raptor 🦖 so it picks going to "the doctor office" as the dino. Or an annoying family member stopping by.
It's like c'mon brain 🧠 chill out. We can do something simple as this. We can listen to Aunt So-So ramble on & give her usual excuse when it's time for her to go. Not everything it a T-Rex 🦖
Not everything is a T-Rex? 😆 That's a hard, hard argument to win. Relaxing into it, not fighting, is s'pposedly the way to go, but c'mon! You relax with a raptor chasing you.
