Happy 3-2-1 Thursday!

Here are 3 ideas, 2 quotes, and 1 question to consider this week...

3 Ideas From Me

I.

"A critical quality to develop in life is the willingness to try. You simply must find enough confidence to give it a go. The human mind is fabulous at learning. You will get better at whatever you practice. But before you can develop the skill to succeed, you must find the courage to attempt."

II.

"Grow fast, built to crash.

Grow slow, built to last."

III.

"When you think you are too old to do something new remember you will never be younger than you are right now."

2 Quotes From Others

I.

Entrepreneur and author Derek Sivers on the value of mastering something:

"Mastery is the best goal because the rich can't buy it, the impatient can't rush it, the privileged can't inherit it, and nobody can steal it. You can only earn it through hard work. Mastery is the ultimate status."

II.

Poet Elisabeth Elliot on courage:

"Sometimes fear does not subside and one must choose to do it afraid."

1 Question For You

What project are you still working on that has already peaked? Is it time to let it go and begin climbing the next mountain?

I really needed to read this, as I am attempting improving my skills and I need to go slow but master it and work at it alot more. I wish I could see improvement but not that good yet.

But J K Rowling kept it up to 50's writing I think I am slow too with progress but she kept trying until she sold 500 million copies of Harry Potter books and before that she suicidal depressed and everything and nearly gave up but she didn't and made it

as i've told you many times.....the only way we 100% lose/fail is when we 100% quit trying. you can do anything you want to....you have the intelligence and persistence to do it...just keep looking through the windshield and not through the rear view...
