I Feel Like I’m Over Life. *Trigger Warning*

Throughout my life I’ve struggled with mental illness. Last week I had the worst panic attack ever. I’m self harming again. Seeing things . Hearing voices. Can’t tell dreams from reality. I have two daughters I know they would suffer immensely without me. My grandmother would probably die from a broken heart. But I’m tired. Playing ring around the Rosie with my prescriptions and not getting anywhere. I feel like I have worms in my brain. My husband and sister get upset and call me selfish for thinking this way. My mother says I genetically suffer from these issues from my father’s side (she takes a jab at him anyway she can). My psychiatrist is going to start me on Ambilify; praying for the best. I don’t know how long I can do this.

You are not alone. I know, I’m tired too. Had horrible feelings today it felt like a dream and have had a hard time ever since I can remember. Like you, I stay for my kids and to not hurt others. I find that therapy really helps me feel more grounded and cared for. Are you in therapy? My heart goes out to you; sounds like a very difficult time for you. You are strong. Please keep writing if it helps.

Hey ! Yes I see a psychiatrist weekly and we try to work through my issues and see what medications work best. It’s throughout the day is when I struggle the most so we’re trying really hard to find the right combination to help me.
