My name is Jennifer, aka In-The-Shadows (Shadow), and I am 47 as of 10/24/2024. I have three children, two of whom are grown, and one not so much. My youngest and I have so many things in common, and I can relate to her PTSD, ADHD, and Autism outbursts. She was abused in many of the same ways that I was, and her parents neglected her as mine has done.
I release all that I hide in the shadows down onto paper in the style of poetry. It helps me manage my emotions.
I do hope to be able to share my poetry with you all.
