Forgetting to take medication...

Sure everyone has done this at some point while on medication, just want to hear about your experiences of this happening....

I recently thought I had been taking my venlafaxine as usual as it has become quite a part of my daily routine. But apparently not.... I had missed few days of not taken any and became very ill, I was seeing double, raging headaches, nauseous, and cold sweats, it was awful.

I did wonder 'is this what recovering addicts go through when they stop using' a probable tiny insight though, still feeling great but today I remember to take my medication!

Agreed, it's easy enough to forget if your mind is on other things. I now prepare a week in advance on Sunday night with a tablet box from the pharmacy.

i should probably do that and have it somewhere i look at everyday so its obvious lol

Yes I do that too as I take so many tabs, it’s so much easier 👍

these meds are hardcore narcotic drugs, just because big pharma got congress to legalize it doesn’t make it any better. It’s crazy I used to take lamictal. If you quit taking that you get seizures. Be careful

I just been warned over high blood pressure so I check mine every now and then when i remember, only couple times its been high but mostly its normal
