Functioning but would like to find others with lived experience in anxiety and depression for sharing mini sessions online just to connect. Helps to change the present attention and get out of the feelings often.
There may be a community where all can share and be heard. New to this.

What do you mean by mini sessions. This is a wonderful support group you have joined here. This is a community where we can all share and be heard. Welcome.
This is highly discouraged by HU for safety reasons. Forming groups off site with people you don't know is really not a good idea. This private information should not be posted on the open forum.
I am not interested in forming any group outside. Just communicating to people who share my anxietydepression issues. Good pointbto keep things anonymous I guess by only going through your site rather than exchanging personal e mails. I think this us what you mean?
Yes, this HU site is a good place to give & receive suggestions re. dealing with Anxiety, and or Depression. There are online & in person groups, as well, that you might be interested. NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is one. NAMI has Connection groups & you can find them on Nami.org There is EA (Emotions Anonymous) which has in person, and online groups. Can look up for info. Also, can ask your Primary Care Dr. for resources. Good luck!
Emotions Anonymous is a 12-Step program much on the order of A.A. Alcohol Anonymous --EA deals with Anxiety, and or Depression & works if you work the program --it shall I say, it is another "tool" to work with.
Hi! I think all we can do is post how we are feeling and ask for advice, as well as sharing any good tips that may help. Are you having therapy, and are you on antidepressants? If you share more about yourself, I'm sure you'll get a lot of support and helpful advice.
Also, read all the posts from others and the replies to them; they can be so helpful.
