I have bipolar and my energy levels change. Right now I am very tired all the time and pushing myself to do what I can. Does anyone know what would help me have more energy? Or advice on what I should do when I feel like this? Thx in advance.

I hear you. It is extremely hard to break that low energy when it comes. Doing just the basics seems like a monumental task. Multivitamins help me when I get like this.
Hi Colbie,The low energy could be a symptom of your mental health condition however there are a number of physical conditions that look and feel the same.
I recommend having a blood test to be sure.
The main physical reasons could be thyroid, iron, vitamin B12 and D levels.
Getting outside in nature or just walking in the neighbourhood lifts moods too. Nothing too strenuous required.
As always, look after person No. 1

Thx for your reply blackcat64013 🐈⬛ I get bloodwork done regularly. Everything is fine as far as that goes. (the only thing the doctor said was that my liver enzymes were a little high) I do need to exercise more often... I think that would help me have more energy, but I really struggle with motivation. It seems like I either have way too much energy or no energy at all. It's hard for me to cope because I hate feeling so tired and depressed. I cry a lot. I also rely on caffeine and that isn't the best idea... especially with me having tardive dyskinesia from one of my meds.
Anyway, how are you doing today?
Colbie
