Hi Cmbs, I have just been in a similar situation with my dad. RIP.

There's no right or wrong way to feel and do things.

Your wonderful brain 🧠 will do the right thing to process your grief in the present and after your mother passes, even if it doesn't feel like at the time.

For myself, I found that holding my dad's hand and talking was good for my heart which had so much love to give.
