Back in December my best friend passed away in a car accident. I don’t have any tattoos but decided I want one. My friend actually designed it. It is her birth flower and the word always is actually in her handwriting. I’m really nervous to get it but I know it’s so special and something I won’t regret. My appointment is tomorrow afternoon. My boyfriend can’t come anymore so now I have to go alone which is making me anxious.

hello Daisy…. I am 80 years old, and never had a tattoo, but my son said it doesn’t hurt, but may feel tender for a couple of days….. your intended tattoo design is beautiful, and a nice way to remember your friend, have the tattoo where you can see it every day…. take care and stay safe.
Oh Daisy, that is a beautiful design.I would consider mentioning your nervousness to the tattoo artist. Hopefully they will reassure you a bit, or give you pointers.
Hello Daisy I think this is a lovely tribute my niece had a tattoo she was fine I guess take some pain relief cocodomol it doesn't make me feel sick like paracetamol and relaxes me when my pain is bad the tattoo is beautiful your friend will stay close in your memories always, she's watching over you can assure you of that and help you through it 🤗💛🌟
That's so beautiful & elegant... a perfect way to remember 2 of your friends. Tell your tattoo artist it's your first tattoo & that your are nervous, that way they can help you. I'm sure you wouldn't be their first client that has felt this way & your honesty will pay off. Good luck & can't wait to see how it goes. 💛
If you're feeling nervous about it, remember that you get to pick the time and place for it. If it isn't happening today, that's okay, you can get a tattoo another day!
As for the 'pain'.. well, pain is relative to the individual. They way I've explained mine are that it's like that feeling of rug burn across the skin. It's not the best feeling in the world, but if you tolerate mild pain relatively well, you'll be okay for this.
As for your boyfriend not being able to be there and offer support, I think there may be someone else there to keep an eye on thing with you; after all, it's her flower and her handwriting
Best of luck, follow the after care instructions and consider some vitamin E cream.
your words brought me so much comfort about my friend watching over me. Thank you so so much I really needed to hear that. Have you ever gotten a tattoo on your forearm? I’m getting this on my inner forearm. Also I told him I don’t want it longer than three inches, so it will be pretty small. How long will it take do you think?
I've got 6, none on my forearm. My forearm is next. It may be a little more sensitive on the inner side of your arm than the outer side. The closer to the inside arm joint, I'm told, also the more sensitive. Elbows... are special... doesn't apply here from what you've mentioned. 3 inches? Yeah, rug burn sensation, but manageable. My longest is about 8 inches... and I have friends who've got full body work done... 3 inches is also easy to care for and easy to clean. Not gonna lie; you're gonna bleed, and it's gonna scab over, and your gonna wanna pick at it, but this looks thin and easy and you'll be okay before the month is out...WITH A TATTOOOOOOO 😁
