Getting out of my depth….

Hi There:

In my desire to beat depression, I’ve been reading and literally thinking deeply about everything I can get my hands on (academic theses, presentations, patient handout, articles, lectures, videos, etc., I’ve also been rather free with my advice (and empathy) on this platform. However, in writing my first diary entry in a number of days (rather than writing about what I have learned and found out from other sources), it has occurred to me that I might be putting the cart before the horse, and not truly facing up to my own needs? Can others appreciate that sentiment, or have I over exercised my brain box and really got it jammed?

It could be both. Just try to take things one step at a time. You'll find what helps but it may take some time. You'll have good days and bad ones but that's ok.

Thanks for reaching out. Simply responding lets me know that I am not in my own echo chamber.

You're building up your theory and your zealousness for information I believe will serve you well. Perhaps the cart and horse are beside one another. It's the slow practical application of that theory that, while challenging at times reaps dividends. It's the practice that helps refine what information to seek out. You got this. :]

Any jubilation is encouraged and welcomed. Cheers!

I'm glad you are here to share your thoughts, whatever they may be. We are all on a journey and at different spots on the road. I wish we could make a chain and hold hands and help each other along. It's a lonely road for me. Thank you for being here.

Holding hands might be difficult because I am in Asia.
