hi guys, it’s been a while since I’ve been here since I’ve gotten better from a stomach virus but now there’s a new worry in town. There’s been this weird feeling when touching the pulse in my neck where my pulse is like shaking a bit but that’s about it. I have felt lightheaded before but it never involves a shaking heartbeat and I can Excersize pretty well. No other symptoms with it and it goes away when I switch the angle in which my neck is turning or facing. I heard a quivering heartbeat can be sings of a fib but idk if it’s true or not so I need someone to please help me find out if this is truly nothing to worry about or something bad

honestly. I feel like I might’ve found a better way to explain it, it’s like as if my vein is throbbing instead of my actually heartbeat being irregular. This kinda relieved my worries but I’m still tryna find an answer to why this happens:)

First and foremost, don't try to self diagnose, it really has to be done by health professionals that meet you in person at a doctor's office. There can be a lot of reasons for all the things you have mentioned so far. I can imagine you got a ton of ideas spinning all around in your head creating even more anxiety, so if you've got access to health care please please use it to find if there is a physiological reason to be concerned over. I can say with great certainty that all us here can't really diagnose what is happening.

That being said, in the mean time speaking as someone with major panic attack issues in the past, it's very important to be mindful to level out anxiety that may be playing into your symptoms. There are lots of exercises both mental and physical you can do until you can get to see a health care professional, i.e. breathing exercises, meditation including guided meditation, or journaling, etc. Nothing strenuous till you see a doctor. These are things I've done to redirect anxiety till I could get supplemental help on issues I've had. I can say you reaching out to talk about problems is also helpful. In this case though a physical exam by a doctor can not be understated.

I hope this note find you well. Let me know what you find out and/or if these cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) exercises help. If you don't know about CBT I can also you fill you in on that too.
