My mom sent me this

I'm going to try this.

When feeling overwhelmed try this grounding exercise.

1. Focus on 5 things you can see.

2. Touch 4 things you can feel the texture of

3. Pay attention to 3 things you can hear

4. Find 2 things you can smell

5. Try one thing you can taste

Try to go through this exercise until you feel a shift to feeling more calm.
