Caring And Supportive Community

I've never been in a community like this that would care and support a stranger. I don’t know what to say. I was not expecting the response I've gotten from my last post. Maybe I was to quick to leave.

Not to be too dramatic or poetic but I think the world can be a cold and harsh place which can leave a lot of us jaded at best. This community has been a surprise for me too, I’ve never been apart of a support group before so I think I have gotten lucky. The response to my first post was so immense that I felt that I had to keep paying it forward.

A community is only as good as the sum of its parts and if those of us who have the capacity to be warm and share a part of ourselves for those who are struggling, the sum total can be, I think, pretty impressive.

I am glad you are giving this place another go and look forward to seeing you around!

Glad you decided to stay here. One of the things to realize is that this is an international site with all different time zones and so it may take time for people to see and respond to your posts/comments and to not take it personally if you don't get responses right away.
