Hello, I am in recovery from a year of cancer treatment. I thought I was doing fine

feeling-wise but am overwhelmed with adjusting to my life changes. I have struggled with

low energy and sad depressive feelings now and in the past.

Its ok to just feel luv, I know its not nice when something so bad happens to you. I had alot of ill health last year and it really got me down. I found doing crafts helpful and it really cheered me up, all the wonderful colours and pretty things you can make. It also takes your mind off the not so good things. I also bought some uplifting and funny dvds and had a good laugh. Although you may not always feel strong enough to do this. Are there any cancer groups you can join to share with people going through the same thing. We have one through our drs and they offer free therapies. Also it may be worth trying therapies like massage/reiki/reflexology, check with your dr beforehand too. Anyway take care of yourself, if you need to cry cry, if you need to rest rest, if you need to eat eat. Start by doing at least one little thing a day to look forward to, a nice bath a book. Give yourself time too, as you said its a big thing and isnt easy to adapt. I wish you hugs and healing xx
