Anxiety help

Recently my anxiety has become out of control. My meds aren’t working as well, I’m having attacks almost everyday, I’m afraid to sleep, my chest constantly feels tight and I feel my heart pounding. I’m so exhausted I feel like I’m drowning and I can’t get out.

So sorry to read your post, it must be awful. I'm sure the mods will say you really should tell your doctor exactly what you've described here. Have you got the phone number for your local community support team Crisis Line? They are very good help in a crisis such as how you're feeling now, I didn't call them for years for all kinds of "reasons" in my head, but really anyone struggling like you are really should call them straightaway, they're mental health professionals and can really help you, it doesn't have to lead to further involvement if you don't want to, but they can refer you to ongoing support if you would like that.
