Adderall XR 20mg

I was finally diagnosed after a lifetime of feeling unmotivated and not like a normal person. I’m 35.. My doctor wanted to put me on Vyvance to help with weight loss as well, but my insurance won’t cover it until I try other alternatives. So he recommended Adderall XR 20mg. Today was my first day. I woke up, had some coffee and took my pill with a smoothie. Within an hour I could feel the effects and a bit nauseous. About an hour later I was starving. It feels like the kind of hunger where I am ravenous and still have hunger pangs after eating a complete meal and drinking a lot of water. This is not what I expected as I actually have weight to lose, not gain. And of course most info I read said I will lose my appetite. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this experience. I know it’s just day 1 and wondering if the hunger will wear off. I definitely cannot gain weight. I also don’t feel much different in terms of my mood or focus.

I would call my doctor to see if these side effects are to be expected. I’m on a stimulant but it doesn’t make me agitated or ravenous. And like you said, you’ve only had one dose. Good luck to you.
