New Meds

My new meds are tough. I started them on Friday. I switched from Zoloft to Effexor. I increased my hydroxyzine to a higher dosage. I need encouragement. I have more irritation, extreme mood swings, & I suddenly get very cold when it first kicks in. My doctor let me know most side effects. But, I had no idea of just how off I would feel. No appetite either. But, I have tons of energy all of a sudden. Not much fatigue at all. Been bouncing off the walls. Lol

I remember when my psychiatrist was trying to find the right mixture of meds for me. I felt like a Guinea pig. But the trial and error method seemed to be the only way to go. I’m thankful it worked out, as I am now stable on meds. I hope the same outcome for you.

Yes definitely. Once you find the ones that work for you, things become much easier.
