hey guys. So I’ve just been really struggling with my depression lately and it’s left me feeling very sad and hopeless. I feel like I won’t ever get better and that I’ll be struggling with this the rest of my life and I’ll never get out of this cycle which has led me to want to give up. Hopelessness
You know what can help BlueAurora?? Changing your negative thought pattern as
well as never giving up. Thinking that you will never get better, you will be struggling
with this the rest of your life as well as you will never get out of this cycle, will do nothing
but keep you in that negative mode.
After all, what you think is what you get and unless you change the broken record in
your mind, things will stay the same.
I use Meditation each and every day. Upon awakening, mid afternoon and before bed.
Listening to Positive Affirmational Meditation can and will retrain your subconscious
mind to think more clearly. My go to is YouTube. It can't hurt to give it a try. As you
sleep, your subconscious mind will absorb the new thoughts. A retraining/reprogramming
per se. I think you will be quite surprised at the outcome. It's going to be okay.

Yes, do try anything that'll compel you to take a step forward, even if it's just one step. I really wish for your well-being and will check in on you at a later time, if that's okay.
I agree with everyone's suggestion including prayer. You don't have to belong to a religion to pray. Sometimes in my darkest times I force myself to sit outside for 15 minutes and look at the sky to break the meserism of the lies that the "inner critic " has been telling me.
