Mirtazapine 15mg

I don't know if anyone one has answered my query before. Does any one wake up in a sweat after taking mitizapine. I have been on 15mg for over 2 months taking it before I go to bed, It does help me sleep and helps somewhat with my depression. I do worry about the sweating though. I should also add that I take esticitalopram 20mg in the evening I have been on this for several years.

Yes occasionally I get night sweats too, not sure if it's medication related or not really.

I had exactly the same problem, along with the most incredible hunger that led to rapid weight gain. I came off of Mirtazapine and now take 20mg of Escitalopram along with either 2 Promethazine Hydrochloride or 2 Temazepam to help me sleep. I have PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. The night sweats are a lot less severe now. I hope you find a remedy ♡

Thank you for your reply. I have tried promethazine Hydrochloride but did not like the side effects. I hope your medication helps you too.

I was hungry and had night sweats when I took mirtazapine.You should check your meds since many as you mention can cause balance problems.

I forgot to add that mirtazapine did help me sleep and add weight which were both needed for me.So there was a positive effect also.

hi, yes i have night sweats as well, been on mirtazapin for 6 weeks now.

Thank you for letting me know.Not taking them now.Been put on Pregablin 75mg twice a day .Hope you get on ok
