Mirtazapine for anxiety

HiDoes anyone take mirtazapine for anxiety? How long does it take to see the effects? I've been taking 15mg for the third week but I still don't feel much improvement, I still feel anxious and jittery. Maybe the medications take longer to kick in. What are your experiences with this drug?

Have a nice day everyone

Hi. Thanks for your answer. Do you think 15 mg helps with anxiety? I read that it takes 4-6 weeks to see results, but I would like to know how people react to this drug.

Hello and welcome, Hidden ,

I had to wait about 1 month and a half before I was able to relax and feel the very first - good - effects of Mirtazapine.

It is really helpful to sleep and keep sleeping, with less nightmares and bad dreams.

Hope this helps

Take Care

Love from France
