Today started off bad!!! πŸ˜”

Finally at noon I feel grounded and a little more calm since 4:00 a.m. this morning. As I mentioned in my previous post I'm going through medication change, at one point this morning I really thought I was going to lose it. I could not focus, I was shaking I was trembling I couldn't catch my breath I was having palpitations. All of this was happening while I was in two different zoom meetings for work! I reached into my toolbox and I started meditating and I started using visualization. How I was able to pull it off and turn it around is only with God's grace, and the patience and self talk that I know it was going to pass, knowing what's that it was going to be over soon! I'm literally exhausted! These attacks are not fun at all! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers today....I need all the power and praise! Thanks for listening and being a source of comfort! Stay strong everyone! ❀️πŸ’ͺπŸ™

I like your attitude while facing adversity. It's amazing how a panic attack can make you feel like you ran a marathon!

You are so strong and you are doing the hard work of living with anxiety! Download the DARE app and listen to all of the panic attack resources. Every single morning I listen to "Morning Motivation" and then listed to the "Reassurance" recording on repeat as I drive to work. Constantly hearing the affirmations about how I am safe and I can handle anything anxiety throws my way, truly gets me through my difficult moments during the day. I'm a teacher and just about an hour ago I started feeling the trembling and chest pressure of anxiety - I kept on teaching but in my head I was telling myself that "sensations are just sensations" and that I was not in any danger. The sensations passed. I know things will get easier but constantly affirming ourselves is an amazing tool to use when we're in this heightened state of anxiety. I am proud of you for how strong you were today and you will get through this!

Kelsey22, thanks for the kind words. You are not the only person to mention DARE! Did you join or are you using the free APP?? One day at a time.

At first I was just using the free version. What you can access through the free version is still very comprehensive. I decided that the resources were helping me so much that now I pay for the full version. I highly recommend.
