So I just wanted to write a little something on here as both a way to solidify my accomplishments but also to prove that you are way stronger than you even think! I just went on a week long vacation and I was extremely nervous. As I have mentioned before, while having a lot of general anxiety I also experience health related anxiety. I had to get on a 6 1/2 hour plane ride, and I almost didn’t go. I cried almost the whole way to the airport and was about to just turn around and go home, but (with some support from my parents) I decided I was going to fight through my anxiety. Obviously I’m not cured or anything and I still had varying amounts of anxiety throughout my trip, but I did it! I spent the whole car ride to the airport convincing myself that I was gonna go home and cancel the whole trip, but I managed to have a good time! I hope this can be a positive example to everyone because I wasn’t aware of what I was truly capable of until I did it. So to anyone else who’s really struggling right now, you just have to keep going (I know that’s cliche but it’s true)! It won’t 100% fix everything but it will definitely help you to realize just how much you’re capable of!!
Keep fighting through! : So I just... - Anxiety and Depre...
Keep fighting through!
ecologylover28, thanks for being a reminder to us all that it doesn't always have to be bad stuff, we can post positive things on here, too!
I'm very happy for you and your accomplishment 🤗
of course! While I can be a very negative person overall, I think positivity is really important!
Hi,What a fantastic post.
Your post reminds us that we are brave enough to face the big A, for anxiety and that we are much stronger than we think.
Thank you from Australia
Great job!!!! You did it be proud of how far you have come
Thank you for your post, it's great encouragement. We can succeed if we work at it.
I'm glad you were able to enjoy the trip.

Yaaas! Good for you!! I can relate - I’ve spent so much time in airport bathrooms fighting back the urge to puke but determined to push through. It gets easier I promise (now I can fly with pretty much zero anxiety) and you should be so so proud of yourself for not letting your anxiety stop you doing something you wanted to do. You are amazing!
